Awake Vancouver started by the Holy Spirit's desire to reach Vancouver in the hearts of a few people in Boise, ID. The church started in spring 2015. It's calling is to see people come to the knowledge of Christ who were once in darkness and become what the Bible calls the body of believers, His church.

Marlon Brown | Lead pastor

It was during Marlon’s first year at a university in Southern California that the Lord really captured his heart. The Lord opened his eyes to the importance of having a real relationship with Jesus instead of just being apart of a religion. After several years of ministry in California and Idaho, God called Marlon and his wife Rebecca to be apart of His work in Vancouver BC. The couple have 5 beautiful children; Judah, Caleb, Eden, Boaz, and Hadassah. This family’s love for one another is only eclipsed by their love for Jesus. In his free time Marlon enjoys; playing "Super Heroes" with his children, playing or coaching soccer, or watching his beloved Lakers on TV.
